A Herd Of Cats
If a group of atheists is in a forum, what kind of discussion will they be able to carry? Will they be missing something if they don’t have theists in their midst to remind them that there is supposed to be the “other view”? Well, it seems to me to be so obvious. When atheists agree loosely that god is just make-believe, isn’t it then that everything becomes secular? Okay, maybe some atheists think that there is some inherent value in religious opinion that theists should equally contribute to the discussion. Why would leaving out the theistic viewpoint in the discussion automatically translate to just endless agreements? In an atheistic universe where everything is secular, what is the real value of an opinion based on “supernaturalism”? One wise ass once said, everyone is entitled to his wrong opinion. And another said not all opinions are valid. In an atheistic worldview, supernaturalism is just another word for hogwash and is not valid so why should we give it equal weight and airtime?
Somebody said organizing atheists is like herding cats. Atheists can be counted to agree on only one thing - that god, in all indication, is just all bull. Atheism is a negative position and where the underlying reasons can be as varied as there are atheists. It does not tell us what the atheists agree on positively. This in itself is a very good reason why a meaningful discussion is always possible rather than the other way around - the atheists are generally not prone to always agreeing on all matters. It is what makes any discussion on things secular teem with possibilities - but within reason.

Precisely. Not every Christian will share the same views, because we are not bound together by philosophy, religion or any other established societies/groups.
Its best that Christians don’t participate in atheist forums, for they are too hypocritical, judgemental and whimsical to even hold a proper statement.

Hopefully there will still be a free flow of discussions on topics devoid of theistic ideas. Like maybe… for example, a discussion on pseudoscientific issues - like the hollow earth agenda, or ancient astronauts; or other interesting subjects worthy of consideration. But evidently, said topics must have a hint of ‘validity’ in them. Debunk, defend, prove. It would still be a worthwhile ‘trip’ nonetheless.
